This was a shower for a friend's sweet new baby. Trudy Callan is her mommy and Trudy is an awesome seamstress (see her blog www.sewingwithtrudy.blogspot.com ), so I wanted the cake to reflect her gift as well as celebrate Samantha's arrival.
