This cake was inspired by the beautiful Wedgwood china. I have one small Wedgwood cream pitcher that belonged to my grandmother which helped me get the color right. This cake was a surprise and the recipient (in the picture) just happened to wear the same color shirt!
Lemon cake and lemon buttercream covered in marshmallow fondant. Stenciling done in royal icing. Bow made of gumpaste.
